When you need help turning off and turning inward, these are my favorite options that I’ve used over the years
Meal Prep Made Easy
Cooking from scratch is often a part of holistic wellness. Below are my all-time favorite kitchen tools that help me simplify mealtimes. If my deserted island had electricity, these are the items I must have! 🙂
Mason Jars — Oh, how I love my mason jars. Literally, for everything! I store teas, sauces, leftovers, salads, nuts, seeds, coffee and even use them for drinking glasses!
Vitamix — I could write an entire articles on why I love my Vitamix, but in a nutshell, if you cook at home, this is an investment that is worth saving for!
Mandoline Slicer — I’ve had other mandolines with lots of cutting blades and they were a pain-in-the-butt to clean and store. This is hands-down the easiest mandoline slicer out there and takes up very little room in your cupboard! I love making pickled red onions and marinated cucumbers.
InstantPot — I can’t say enough good things about the InstantPot. In fact, we have two. When our cooktop broke we ended up using this easy pressure-cooker to make meals for months. It was a life-saver and helps with batch cooking and weekly meal planning.
Mini food processor — This little guy is a kitchen workhorse! I make homemade dairy-free, nut-free pesto with ingredients from the garden along with nightshade-free mango salsa for tacos. It’s great for grinding nuts, seeds and coffee beans too!
