Tending to our mind and opening channels of awareness is a very important component of self-care. In fact, it’s so important that I want to help you create your own personalized self-care plan. Without one, we tend to let our busy day distract us into the abyss of everything else except ourselves. Right? It happens all too easily, and we let ourselves drop down on the priority list when, really, we should be #1.
So how do we open channels of awareness? For many, that means meditation and/or affirmations. For others, it could be nature walks, walking the dog, warm baths, yoga, journaling or simply sitting in quiet.
